Lives in West Yorkshire... (from Dublin, Ireland)

My practice spans between various roles. I am a visual artist. I curate and facilitate artists projects and exhibitions. I also work as an educator in the visual arts, photography and media.

As part of my interest in the role of the arts in a healing environment i have been facilitator for a number of landmark projects in Ireland. Such as, Solas (in association with Naas General Hospital Arts Committee and Kildare Co Co Arts Office 2009/2010) along with Lived Lives (Materialising Stories of Young Irish Suicide, with artist Dr Seamus McGuinness

2006 - 2012)

I have worked on various independent curatorial ventures including a commissioning venture titled, Commonplace Projects (commissioning editioned artworks). Rigor Mort (Arts Council Of Ireland funded exhibition and book about the subject of loss 2007-2009), The Temporary Collection (at Castletown House, Kildare 2008), Based On Our Current Science (Gallery of Photography, Dublin 2008). In 2010 I was selected for the Red Stables emerging curator award (DCC Arts Office) and devised Hopeful Structures (Saint Annes Park).

With support from Dublin City Council Arts Office, I founded Commonplace Artists Studios and Project Space in 2006. Along with commissioning new works by emerging artists,  I facilitated a drawing workshop (with many members) that met regularly at Commonplace Studios until 2016.

I have an ongoing interest in collaborative cultural endeavour through various associations with artist-led groups such as, Via Artists Group, Projector Collective, The Moore Street Lending Library (all Dublin based), Platform (Finland) and N55 (Denmark).
