Curator, coordinator and assisting host of Lived Lives (An artistic and scientific collaboration initiated by Artist Professor Seamus McGuinness and Clinical Physician Professor Kevin Malone under the auspices of The All Ireland Suicide Survey, commenced 2003).

 

Note: I engaged with this project between the years 2006- 2012 (the project remains durational). At the time of my contribution, my duties included guiding visual artist, Seamus McGuinness through a process of ‘informed consent’. Liaising with researchers and collaborators along with 110 families (from around the entire island of Ireland) who have been effected by suicide and had volunteered the stories of their experiences of losing loved ones to suicide. Co-ordinating closed exhibitions of donated artefacts, recordings and personal belongings of loved ones. Taking care of the donated items and compiling an inventory of each part of a growing archival collection of objects.
