Archive Notes

Bright Shadow, 2009 - a collaboration between Projector Collective and Via Artists Group at St. Agatha’s Court in the north inner city - a disused senior citizens housing development owned by Dublin City Council.

The five artists from Projector Collective and Via Artists Group gained access for the use of the vacant site from DCC and placed gold leaf onto the shuttered windows of the housing block and grew a bed of sunflowers in the disused garden. It was our intention to draw attention to the site as a place of aspirational potential.

Since the project/Intervention was undertaken in 2009. The garden has since been developed and continues to be used as a community garden.
